Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has scored a brilliant century in the first Test match against New Zealand.
In the first Test match of the two-Test series between Australia and New Zealand being played in Wellington, Cameron Green came out to bat at number four for the first time and scored a century.
New Zealand captain Tim Southee decided to bowl first after winning the toss his fast bowlers troubled the Australian batsmen fiercely and after lunch under the leadership of Matt Henry, Australia took three wickets to score 89 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. From here, Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Green shared a 67-run partnership for the fifth wicket and brought Australia’s score to 156 runs. On this score, Matt Henry gave Australia the fifth blow by dismissing Mitchell Marsh on a personal score of 40 runs.

Australia have scored 279 runs losing 9 wickets till the end of the first day.
For New Zealand, Matt Henry has taken 4 wickets so far and young fast bowler William Ourkee has taken 2 wickets while Scott Kugglian has also taken 2 wickets. All-rounder Rachin Ravindra got 1 wicket. New Zealand can make their grip on this match by making a big score by disposing Australia early on the second day tomorrow.
