Robin Minz, the first Adivasi player in IPL 2024: A 21-year-old boy from Gumla district of Jharkhand has bagged a multi-million-dollar contract from the IPL to become the first Adivasi cricket player in the IPL. Robin Minz always wanted to be a cricketer, and in an interview in June 2023, Robin revealed his passion for cricket at the age of 8. His journey to reach the IPL has been very impressive; his father is currently a retired man working as a guard.

His father, who was his initial coach, is presently employed at Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Airport1.
