Before the renovation of the stadium, the pitch favors the batsman upto a good extent, but after the upgrade of the ground. The pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium has changed.

Pitch in Test Match: At early stage of the match, this pitch helps the bowler to take wicket or produce less runs. As the game forward, the pitch neither help the bowler nor the batsman and become neutral for both sides. Due to early benefits for the bowlers, the overall benefit goes to the baller.
