Team India has also announced its Test team in the upcoming series against South Africa and the most important news is that Rishabh Pant is back.
Pant is the other vice-captain with Shubman Gill still heading the team.
Pant missed the series after a foot injury in July as he had been out of action since July. Due to that, he was forced to skip the final Test with England and home series with the West Indies. He is back in fine condition, and now he is ready to play again.

Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar will be spin specialists in the all-round department and Nitish Reddy will be a medium-paced all-rounder. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep will spearhead the pace attack.

The selectors have also revealed the India A team to play in the one-day series against South Africa A that will be played in Rajkot since November 13.
Ruturaj Gaikwad will be the vice-captain and Tilak Varma has been appointed as captain.
Older players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma do not feature in India A set up thereby providing young players with a chance to make their mark. The team has promising stars as Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, and Ishan Kishan.
