India vs Pak Scorecard, Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan’s decision to bat first after winning the toss backfired on them. Their innings started faltering right from the beginning, and they lost 2 wickets in the first 2 overs. Although Sahibzada Farhan tried to save the team by scoring 40 runs, but as soon as he was out, wickets started falling again.

Kuldeep Yadav and Akshar Patel’s spin troubled the Pakistani batsmen a lot. Kuldeep dismissed Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Nawaz with googlies on two consecutive balls.

In the end, Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 33 runs with the help of 4 sixes and took Pakistan to a respectable score. The whole team was all out for 127 runs.

Chasing a target of 128 runs, India’s openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill took an aggressive approach from the very first ball. Both of them put pressure on Pakistan’s best bowlers, due to which the morale of the Pakistani bowlers seemed to be breaking.

Although Saim Ayub tried to curb India’s aggression by dismissing Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma kept it going and kept scoring runs at a brisk pace. India were still in a strong position after his dismissal. After this, Tilak Verma and captain Suryakumar Yadav took charge of the innings and led the team towards victory.

India comfortably won by 7 wickets and 25 balls remaining. He is now at the top of the table in the Asia Cup in Group A.

Yograj Singh Father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh India vs Pakistan match

As far as Pakistan is concerned, what will it do? It cannot compete with India. Since the IPL came to India, Indian players have become very big. Why? To get money. There is money here. It is a good thing. There should be money. Why not? Players should get money. Where there is money, there is prosperity.

Gautam Gambhir on India vs Pakistan match

“My personal answer to this is absolutely no,” Gambhir said when asked whether India should continue playing Pakistan in multi-team tournaments. “Till all this [terrorism] doesn’t stop, there should not be anything between India and Pakistan.”

“Ultimately, this is government’s decision whether we play them or not this is not up to me, it’s not in my jurisdiction. This is for BCCI and, more importantly, the government to decide whether we should play them or not. Whatever decision they make, we should be absolutely fine with it and not politicise it.”

Harbhajan Singh on India vs Pakistan match

India-Pakistan always come in limelight. Operation Sindoor happened. Everybody said there should be no cricket games, business with Pakistan. We did not play the Legends game. It is about own approach, understanding. I feel that until the relations improve, cricket games, business should not happen with Pakistan. However, if the government thinks otherwise, then it is okay, but the situation should improve between India and Pakistan.
