Barsapara Cricket Stadium, situated in Guwahati, is the only international cricket stadium in Assam where international cricket tournaments are organised.

Barsapara Cricket Stadium is also known as Assam Cricket Association Stadium or ACA Stadium, but its official name is Dr Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium. Assam Cricket Association is the owner and operator of the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.
The Barsapara Cricket Stadium was inaugurated by Mr Sarbananda Sonowal (Assam’s chief minister at that time) on 10 October 2017, and it became the 49th international cricket stadium in India. The pitch has the spectator capacity of more than 50,000 during the cricket events, and the stadium is spread on 37 acres of land.
No international test match events have been done on the ground yet.
Pitch Report
The pitch at Barsapara Stadium is favourable for batting throughout the event. Bowlers don’t get much support from the pitch, which leads the batsman to pile up good numbers on the scoreboard. Also, the dew factor at the pitch plays a crucial role, generally in the second innings.
The ground pitch is squarer, and its side boundaries are 68-70 metres, and batsmen easily toss the bowl to cross the boundary.
