Now, after the new decision, there will be no captains’ meeting and photoshoot, due to which Rohit Sharma will not have to go to Pakistan.

Before every major ICC tournament, the captains of all the teams meet together and have a photoshoot. But this time ICC and PCB have cancelled it. According to reports, this decision has been taken in view of the busy schedules of the teams.
BCCI had already expressed its displeasure about playing in Pakistan. Now, due to this new change, the Indian team will not need to go to Pakistan and all the matches will be played in Dubai.
PCB’s new plan
However, PCB has prepared a new schedule. According to reports, the inauguration ceremony will be held on February 16 at Huzur Bagh in Lahore. However, there will be no official opening ceremony for the Champions Trophy.
Additionally, on February 7, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate the renovation of the Gaddafi Stadium. At the same time, on February 11, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will inaugurate the renovation of Karachi’s National Stadium.
Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule
The Champions Trophy 2025 will be held from 19 February to 9 March. The matches of this tournament will be played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. But due to security reasons, the Indian team will not go to Pakistan and will play all its matches in Dubai.
