The three-match mini-series between India and Afghanistan will be available to watch on Sony Sports Network (SSN), which has won the right to televise the matchups.
The digital rights will be held by FanCode and ITW Universe will be the global rights holder for the series. The rights holder had entertained offers from Sony Sports, JioStar and Zee Unite8 before making the final decision on the television deal.
The three matches are set to be hosted in New Delhi next month, but there might be a slight change in the fixture list.

It is being hosted by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and the Arun Jaitley Stadium will be the venue of all three matches.
The current schedule says that India will meet with Afghanistan on:
- September 13, 2026
- September 15, 2026
- September 17, 2026
The BCCI has already given formal approval to these dates.
The series will then be all played in the Indian capital which will be a short and compact T20I assignment for both teams.
Request made to change one fixture
The schedule has been approved, however ITW Universe has requested that the ACB look at relocating one of the matches to September 14.
The request is associated with Ganesh Chaturthi which is on that day in 2026. Bhairav Shanth, the founder of ITW, has made alternate scheduling proposals to the top management of the ACB led by its CEO Naseeb Khan.
One would be to shift the three games to September 11, 13 and 14 and another would be to keep September 13 as the first game and then play the second on September 14 and the third on September 16 or 17.
ITW thinks that a match on Ganesh Chaturthi can bring a better sense of bonding with Indian supporters and will be a sort of goodwill gesture between the two cricket boards.

The digital coverage of the India-Afghanistan series will be done by FanCode while Sony Sports Network will broadcast the television match.
The rights deal will ensure there are dedicated TV and streaming channels for the series before the first game airs.
The official dates are the 13th, 15th and 17th of September for now, and for any decision, it has to be taken by the Afghanistan Cricket Board in response to the request from ITW.
