He has smashed 3309 runs and five hundreds while hitting.

Jonny Bairstow: A Fearsome Opening Batsman

On the other hand Jonny Bairstow is a fearsome opening batsman known for his aggressive style of play. He has smashed 4,389 runs in his 99 Tests at an average of 35.82, including nine centuries and twenty-three half-centuries.

Only the Third Time in Test History

This is just the third time in test history that the players from opposite side will play their 100th test match together. It makes this upcoming last match a very unique. Before that only 2 matches were seen where players from opposite side plays a test match in same test that are in 1965, with England’s Colin Cowdrey and Australia’s Ian Meckiff, and in 1987, involving England’s Graeme Gooch and New Zealand’s Greg Ritchie.
