Niranjan Shah Stadium (formerly known as Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium) is known by Khandheri Cricket Stadium which is situated in Rajkot, Gujarat. On February 14, 2024, the Secretary of BCCI, Jay Shah, officially modified the organization’s name. Having a capacity of 28000 people. It is the first solar-powered stadium in Gujarat.

Introduction
The Niranjan Shah Stadium was established in Rajkot city of Gujarat. Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium is also known by other name Khandheri Cricket Stadium. Rajkot is in the centre of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
In 2004 a 30-acres of land was acquired for the construction of a sports complex. At first the stadium was used for Ranji Trophy matches. It is not only acknowledged for its world-class services but also for its enthralling architecture.
Gujarat is a state of the art cricket stadium. The stadium has witnessed for the unforgettable performances and thrilling matches which played in front of the spectators.
The Khandheri Cricket Stadium has made many players who brought glory to the nation. The land who give the opportunity to become a world class cricketer.
Niranjan Shah Stadium Pitch Report
The pitch doesn’t have any rank turners. It will rotate gradually. There is less chance that the ball will be turned immediately. At first, the pitch doesn’t help the spinners. Batsman maintains an advantage over the first several sessions. We can see that the pitch is broken after two or three days. After that, the spinners might be able to continue playing.
