The complete name of the stadium is Dr Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy Andhra Cricket Association – Vishakhapatnam District Cricket Association Cricket Stadium.The stadium is owned by Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh and operated by BCCI.

Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is located in Madhurawada, Vishakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh, India. The ground construction was completed in 2003 where 24000 spectators can enjoy the events of the stadium. The stadium is designed and built in two tier structure so that the spectators can view the match without any blockers or restricted view.

India vs Pakistan, the first ODI match was played on 05 April, 2005 while the first international test match India vs England was played on 17 November, 2016. On 14 February, 2016 India vs Sri Lanka, first international T20 match was played where Sri Lanka made lowest score of the pitch.
