The much-awaited IPL 2024 auction is all set to take place on December 19, 2023, in Dubai. The event is said to be an important occasion as it reveals the final team roster for the upcoming season. This time, the auction is going to be held outside India, i.e., at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

IPL Auction 2024: Retained Player List
The IPL 2024 roster includes 173 players from 10 different teams. The identities of the players that the 10 Indian Premier League clubs are keeping onto and releasing must be revealed by November 15 in order to form the lineups for the next season. This is an essential stage in completing the auction pool, which should be finished by the beginning of December.
A significant increase from the INR 95 crore purse of the previous season, each club will earn INR 100 crore (about USD 12.02 million) in preparation for the 2024 season. The list of players that have been retained by each squad is shown below.
